Originally designed by Ralph Adams Cram, this 1892 Arts & Crafts house was completely renovated in 2012 and 2013 for a young family. The kitchen was expanded, a library installed, the main staircase modified, all the bathrooms were renovated, and all new systems and lighting were put in place. The numerous fireplaces were restored and new Pewabic Pottery tile was used in the surrounds and hearths. New windows in the kitchen included leaded glass by the kitchen sink and large custom double hung windows at the kitchen table. On the third floor, a large custom copper skylight was installed in the playroom.

Just outside of Boston, this house and property is on a quiet dead end street and abuts a large conservation area. The house was completely renovated and reorganized to accommodate a young family with four children. Maintaining a quiet demeanor on the street, the grounds at the rear of the house were completely rebuilt into an extensive set of gardens and terraces including a swimming pool and pool house. A play field and pond were constructed at the lowest point in the site, just on the boundary of the conservation area.
